Survey Will Reset Boundaries For Dexter Horseshoe Park – Dexter Leader – Heritage Newspapers

How to Build a Shed – Colonial Storage Shed Plans – Popular Mechanics

Community Development Manager Michelle Aniol reported to the Village Council Monday night about the latest effort to define where then park is and what work needs to be done. The village authorized $5,000 in funding to erect a shelter to store equipment used at the park. Survey works shows the land used for the park bears little resemblance to the actual boundary. Aniol and Council member Paul Cousins were able to meet with the surveyor and walk the entire property. It was very educational, Aniol said. The parks actual boundary is triangle-shaped where one of the sides sits on the eastern edge of the First Street right of way. The area used as the park covers about two-thirds of the triangle and covers a trapezoidal-shaped area that runs from the western edge of the First Street right of way to the western edge of the MDOT right of way by the railroad tracks and begins at the southern edge of the Edison Street right of way at the DTE property.

We built the Colonial-style garden shed shown here from a set of mail-order building plans. The 10 x 16-ft. outbuilding has easy-to-install plywood siding, three large windows and two pairs of doors. The entire building could be used for storage, but we decided to divide the interior space into two separate areas: a 4 x 10-ft. tool-storage area and a 10 x 12-ft. children’s playroom. It’s hard to say exactly how much it will cost you to build this shed.
