On December 7th, police were called to a church on Neenah Avenue for a report of suspicious activity. According to court documents, a witness spotted two men who were looking in storage sheds in the back of a church property. Police say they had also received reports involving the same men acting suspiciously at a nearby church. A witness told police that they saw the men enter the church empty handed and they came out holding a pie and some baked goods. Police arrived at the scene and found donuts and cookies inside a silver Hyundai parked in the parking lot. Police say the cherry pie was found on the ground next to the vehicle. After talking with witnesses, officers found the men hiding in the woods nearby. Paul Saleheshtehardi and Noah Scrimpsher, were charged with burglary of a non-residence.
