Dustin Dale Montgomery, 24, and Joshua Wayne Sheppard, 28, are charged with felony larceny. Deputies and officers from the China Grove Police Department followed the pair in their pickup truck for several miles before pulling them over at the intersection of Kimball and Main Streets in Landis. The recovered scrap metal and welding items were valued at $3,000. Bond was set at $10,000.
